Summerschool "High Energy Astrophysics"


The joint Finnish-German graduate school on Plasma-Astrophysics is announcing this year's summer school. The summer school will address the subject of "High Energy Astrophysics" which includes phenomenology of extragalactic sources, multi-messenger astronomy, theoretical models and underlying particle physics. Internationally renowned lecturers will provide introductory and advanced lectures as well as hands-on-exercises in the topic.

The school is primarily targeting students from the the graduate school in Würzburg and Finland, senior grad students and PhD students from other universities are also welcome.

The school itself will take place in Castle Weesenstein close to Dresden which offers a great conference area, scenic view and its own castle brewery.
