The surrounding area
The conference will take place in Schloss Weesenstein (marked A in the map), which is a remarkable castle from the 12th century situated on a hill above Weesenstein village.
Most hotels are situated in Heidenau. A number of rooms is reserved in the Hotel Reichskrone which is marked with B in the map. You need to mention the summer school when making a reservation there, because the hotel need to know that this room should be allocated from the contingent of the University Würzburg. A two bed bedroom is 50 euros per night and room. Single bed bedrooms would be 37 euros but we already ran out so you have to share a two bed bedroom with somebody you know. Mention the name of your preferred roommate, otherwise you will be assigned a random roommate.
The contingent will expire on July 8th, so make sure to book your room prior to that deadline! After that point we can't guarantee that rooms will still be available.
